Professor Wang Feiteng, Director of the Dagu Glacier Management Bureau, Wen Dingqing, and Miss Hu Jiaojiao of the Polar Hub, delivered opening speeches at the “Green-blueprint” 608 Event, officially launching the connection between Hong Kong and Mainland of China. Reconnecting humanity, promote multiculturalism, achieve harmonious coexistence between humans and nature, and achieve peace, health and prosperity!
Hong Kong Will Legend is committed to building sustainable conservation and education programmes and planning corporate sustainable development and ESG promotion projects. On June 8, 2024, Hong Kong’s first “Green-blueprint” Hong Kong and Mainland of China Connection Event which integrates glaciers, land and oceans – was held at the Kowloon Productivity Building in Hong Kong, promoted sustainable development of “Green-blueprint Initiative” to more than a hundred teachers, students and parents; “Let the Glacier Cool” STEM Award Ceremony was held at the same venue. Professor Wang Feiteng, an international glacier expert and researcher at the Northwest Institute of Ecological Environment and Resources, Chinese Academy of Sciences, was invited as the chairman of the judge panel to commend the ten shortlisted school teams for their work over glacier ablation. “Let the Glacier Cool” STEM Competition Reconnects Humans to Jointly Protect Third Pole, Antarctica and Artic More than a hundred teachers, students and parents promoted the sustainable development of “Let the Glacier Cool”, implementation of SDG and ESG conservation and education activities in the community. Hong Kong Will Legend “Let the Glacier Cool” project received support from Professor Wang Feiteng of the Tianshan Glacier Observation and Experimental Station of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Dagu Glacier Management Bureau, and established the “Third Pole Hong Kong Glacier Museum and Landmark”, which is the pride of Hong Kong people, and jointly support for the “Green-blueprint” activities, organize SDG and ESG educational tours, research trips and academic researches, and lead the public to a journey of glacier conservation in a popular way. At the same time, through “Education and Promotion” work, we advocate the protection of the Third Pole, Antarctica and Arctic, so that the public, especially the next generation, will understand that protecting glaciers is equivalent to protecting mankind’s most precious freshwater resources, nature and the Earth.
“Let the Glacier Cool” Award-winning Schools Set Foot on 4860 Dagu Glacier Wen Dingqing, Director of the Dagu Glacier Management Bureau, sent a representative to Hong Kong, and with Ms. Hu Jiaojiao of Polar Hub, were the award-giving guests at the ceremony. Among more than 40 participating teams, the outstanding teams were CCC Kei Faat Primary School and Yuen Long Merchants Association Secondary School. The winning teams received the awards from Mr. William Hung, CEO of Will Legend and guests, and will have the opportunity to conduct a field trip to the Tibetan Plateau, the third pole of the Earth, the Dagu Glacier.
The Stunning “Green-blueprint” Reconnects Glaciers, Land and Oceans “Green-blueprint” meaning “The Blueprint Towards Future Eco (Green) Living” – Practicing the Integration of Humans, Society, Economy and Nature for Sustainable Development. Hong Kong Will Legend uses 321, 520, and 608 (World Day of Glaciers, World Bee Day, World Oceans Day) to draw the “Green-blueprint”, and go into society and communities to educate and promote safeguarding of glaciers, land and oceans, and build the “Green-blueprint Initiative”. The “Green-blueprint Initiative” allows different participating parties to contribute to society and communities while gaining better attention and exposure. Schools: The “Green-blueprint Initiative” provides SDG and ESG educational tours for schools, connecting glacier, green corridor, and ocean journeys to practice cultural exchanges, national integration, charity, and environmental conservation. Enterprises: The “Green-blueprint Initiative” provides ESG Sponsorship Opportunities for enterprises to help them fulfill their commitments to the environment, society, communities, employees and customers. Charity: The “Green-blueprint Initiative” connects charity and conservation groups with commercial sponsorships, raises public attention, and practices social and environmental goals. Government: The “Green-blueprint Initiative” supports the government in promoting green transformation and using green finance to support the transformation of traditional enterprises into green industries. 
“Green-blueprint” Connects Different Sectors, Organizes Interconnection Hong Kong Will Legend also launched the “SDG and ESG Activities Connecting Hong Kong and Mainland of China ” to encourage mainland institutions, companies and schools to come to Hong Kong to participate in educational and research activities. In the future, Hong Kong Will Legend will create more corporate net-zero economic and sustainable development activities and conferences, and will provide mainland enterprises with green business inspection itineraries that are in line with sustainable development and ESG.
