Businesses, organisations and schools can commission Will Legend to co-design a project or sponsor an existing education or conservation initiative. The proposal will confirm the scope, partners and deliverables.

Glacier journeys | Field learning options to discuss
Will Legend has developed Let the Glacier Cool into glacier learning proposals with different themes. Businesses, organisations and schools can commission us to co-design climate education, science field learning and cultural exchange around their participants, learning goals and resources. Community care commission
A Taste of Hong Kong—A Warm Starting Point for CSR

For this project, 華富 Siu Mei commissioned Will Legend to develop a community-care initiative under the “Hold Me In Your Arms” Community Support Programme. We supported the project from programme design, meal-voucher and lunch-box arrangements, and community coordination to on-site distribution and impact communication.
As a traditional Hong Kong siu mei shop, 華富 Siu Mei gave back to the community through its freshly prepared food and active participation. Its brand was naturally represented through genuine community action and the project story.

Science dialogue at The Chinese University of Hong Kong
On 13 March 2026, CUHK’s Jockey Club Museum of Climate Change hosted Future of Ice: Climate Dialogues. CUHK’s release thanked Rotary for facilitating the event and acknowledged Let the Glacier Cool, an initiative jointly launched by the Chinese Academy of Sciences Northwest Institute of Eco-Environment and Resources and Will Legend.
The partnership continued at a Rotary district conference
On 31 May 2026, William Hung moderated a climate dialogue with researcher Wang Feiteng at Rotary International District 3450’s 66th district conference, discussing glacier conservation and science education.

Educational resources and IP in Xinjiang schools
Through school exchanges, Will Legend connects storybooks, clothing and educational resources. Businesses and organisations can commission or sponsor resources suited to each school’s needs, with Will Legend coordinating exchanges and outcome records.

Shenzhen University: another route for science communication
On 9 September 2026, the Faculty of Arts at Shenzhen University used Let the Glacier Cool as a story setting in its AIGC Short Film Project Planning course, bringing glacier and climate issues into art and AI filmmaking education.
The image records a class introduction and screening; any completed student work and its use depend on actual delivery and permissions.
Dagu Glacier: from field connections to education commissions
The Third Pole Hong Kong Glacier Landmark, presented by Will Legend to the Dagu Glacier Management Bureau, was unveiled on 28 December 2023. The parties also discussed Let the Glacier Cool at the bureau’s office. That December, William Hung visited the Xinjiang Meteorological Bureau and the Chinese Academy of Sciences Tianshan Glaciological Station to exchange views with specialists. These field connections laid a foundation for later field learning and science communication.

Let the Glacier Cool, a conservation and education programme, helps the public understand glaciers, water resources and climate change. Glacier journeys connect research, education, organisations, schools and travel resources to put conservation, science learning and cultural exchange into action.

Rotary International District 3450
Bringing glacier conservation together with climate education, Rotary member or student participation, stakeholder exchange and communication of outcomes.
Will Legend’s role, resources and evidence
On 28 October 2025, Will Legend, the Chinese Academy of Sciences Northwest Institute of Eco-Environment and Resources and Rotary International District 3450 jointly signed a cooperation declaration at the Third Pole Hong Kong Glacier Landmark Plaza at Dagu Glacier. The district then became the first comprehensive partner in the Let the Glacier Cool conservation and education programme.
Will Legend coordinated a five-day glacier journey, connecting the Dagu Glacier Management Bureau, research institutions and scientists, and arranging for participants to reach Dagu Glacier at an altitude of 4,860 metres. Afterwards, Will Legend used Facebook posts and video for public education, creative communication and outcome documentation.

Shun Tak Fraternal Association Lee Kam Primary School
Glacier journeys from 2024 to 2026 developed around each year’s learning goals, progressively deepening the educational content and exchange experience.
The school’s needs
To take students beyond the classroom to learn about climate change, water resources and sustainable development through visits to glaciers, science education and cultural exchange, in keeping with the school’s national education theme of passing on knowledge and remembering the sources of what sustains us.
Will Legend’s role
Design learning content, connect research and travel resources, coordinate partners in Hong Kong and mainland China, organise field learning and exchanges, and compile photos, videos and outcome materials.
The first collaboration took students to Dagu Glacier in Sichuan.
The programme expanded to Tianshan Glacier No. 1 in Xinjiang, with learning at a research station and a school exchange.
The programme added meteorological science, sustainable agriculture, karez irrigation, book donations and a travelling art exhibition.

Participants study the 1.5°C Climate Action: Let the Glacier Cool field learning course, covering glacier change, China’s glacier protection measures and related conservation and education work.
Ways to take part
Businesses and organisations may involve employees in activities for Earth Day or World Environment Day, or to support employee engagement, team building or corporate volunteering goals. They may also sponsor student participation.
Expected deliverables
These may include participant numbers, hours of field learning, course content, exchanges, certificates and communication materials. The proposal and contract will set out the actual scope, timetable and responsibilities.
Advancing SDGs with AI
When commissioned, Will Legend can use AIGC to organise journey footage and content and create conservation and education films that communicate the project’s work and sustainable development value. Production requires the necessary likeness, copyright, brand and asset permissions.
Travel and safety: Qualified travel agencies and service providers will handle the itinerary, transport, accommodation, insurance and travel arrangements in line with destination requirements. Before an activity, participant suitability will be assessed in light of age, health, altitude and local conditions. The final proposal and contract will set out the specific arrangements.
