WILL LEGEND · CONSERVATION & EDUCATION
Green-blueprint
Curiosity. Connection. A closer understanding.
Glaciers. Land. Oceans.
One connected future.
Green-blueprint is Will Legend’s overarching initiative, connecting science, education and participation through three conservation programmes for glaciers, land and oceans. Businesses, organisations and schools can commission Will Legend to plan related projects.
From water and food to the air we breathe, Green-blueprint brings nature closer to everyday life — through real projects and stories people can read, watch and hear.

SCIENCE × EDUCATION × PARTICIPATION
ONE GREEN-BLUEPRINT · THREE PROGRAMMES
Nature is an interconnected whole
Green-blueprint brings glaciers, land and oceans together as one connected whole. Three threads—glaciers and water, land and food, oceans and air—help people understand that natural systems do not exist in isolation. Water nourishes the land; plants and pollinating animals are connected to food production. Rivers flow into the oceans, while land and oceans both take part in Earth’s water and carbon cycles. This is how Will Legend turns scientific knowledge into stories people can understand.

01 / GLACIERS & WATER
Let the Glacier Cool
Connect glacier research with education, field learning and public dialogue, helping people understand water and climate.

02 / LAND & FOOD
Urban Wildlife Corridor
Begin with a flower and a bee. Connect schools and urban spaces with planting, pollinator education and biodiversity.

03 / OCEANS & AIR
Let The Ocean Breathe
Explore marine conservation and the connections among water, food and industry, from the Nanpeng Islands to Xinjiang.
EVIDENCE IN ACTION
From ideas to real participation
Behind the stories are years of work with schools, researchers and community partners.

School talk → Planting → Public sharing → Continued learning
A school talk that grew into continued learning
A school talk led to sunflower planting, public sharing and continued learning — connecting a conservation idea with activities students could join.
Read the school story · 2023–2024
On 17 January 2023, S.K.H. St. Andrew’s Primary School commissioned Will Legend to deliver an Urban Wildlife Corridor Green Campus Talk. Students went on to plant sunflowers and share their work at the 520 World Bee Day Experience Exhibition, organised by Will Legend and held at the school on 20 May that year.
On 14 December 2024, the school continued its sunflower theme at the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Education Expo, where William was invited to speak. Will Legend, the school and other partners contributed their respective strengths to turn an idea into education that others could join and continue.

RESEARCH × THE PUBLIC
From glacier research
to public dialogue
Connecting research with society through field explanations, academic exchange and public dialogue.
Explore the research and dialogue record
Field explanations at Tianshan Glacier, the 2025 glacier academic conference and the 2026 Rotary climate dialogue show different ways Will Legend connects research with society. On 31 May 2026, William and Researcher Wang Feiteng were invited to the Rotary International District 3450 climate dialogue, bringing glacier issues to a professional community.

MARINE CONSERVATION × EDUCATION
Bring the ocean
closer to everyday life
From the Nanpeng Islands to land-based aquaculture in Xinjiang, marine conservation knowledge and visits to real settings help connect the ocean with questions about water, food and industry.

EDUCATION SHARING × EXCHANGE
Children become part of the story
The “Take Me School” Education-Sharing Programme extends from Hong Kong schools to schools in Xinjiang, connecting learning resources, technology education and exchanges. Creative works spark curiosity; education projects turn care into action people can join.
CREATIVE WORKS · GREEN-BLUEPRINT SDG X AI
A storybook, a film and a song.
A closer connection to glaciers, land and oceans.
Science helps us understand. Stories, music and images give that understanding another way to reach people.
The storybook invites readers to pause, explore its illustrated pages and ask questions together. The microfilm brings characters and their journey to the screen, while the song gives those shared hopes a melody people can remember and sing. Together, they offer different ways to discover the connections among glaciers, land and oceans, and carry that curiosity into everyday life.
01 / GREEN-BLUEPRINT MV
A song that connects glaciers, land and oceans
The Green-blueprint music video brings Willy Bee®’s journey to life — linking water, food and the air we breathe through three conservation programmes.
Through an imaginative journey, a drop of water connects glaciers, land and oceans. Bees seek flowers, while Small Algae and Big Whale bring marine life into the story. These encounters connect the song with water, food and the air we breathe. Its chorus brings the journey back to a shared hope: people from different places, speaking different languages, can each contribute to a Green-blueprint through everyday care for nature.

02 / SDG MICROFILM
A shared hope becomes a story we can see
As Willy Bee® and Flowery set out on their journey, glaciers, land and oceans become more than geographical names: they become a world connected to life and our future.

The film uses an imagined future and the adventures of its characters to express hopes for nature and the world we share. Alongside the journey, it invites audiences to bring their curiosity back into everyday life: to learn about a bee, care for a flower or bring a question about water into the classroom.
SDG X AI · FICTIONAL STORYTELLING
AI-generated imagery helps bring the fictional world and its characters to the screen. The imagined future and fantasy elements express hopes for nature; they are not scientific forecasts. Scientific explanations explore the real-world connections among water, pollinators, marine photosynthesis and climate, giving audiences a way to explore the ideas behind the story.
Seven languages, seven separate film versions
To premiere at the symposium. Viewing links for the language versions will follow the official release arrangements.
03 / STORYBOOK
Discover Green-blueprint through a storybook
Willy Bee® — The Journey of Glacier, Land and Ocean
Author: William Hung · Illustrated pages in Simplified Chinese
William brings his belief in nature, education and the future into the journey of Willy Bee® and Flowery. Through characters and adventures, children can discover the natural world and bring their questions back into everyday life.
Read together and explore three questions:
- Where does our water come from?
- Why do bees matter?
- How are oceans connected to the air we breathe?
Schools, businesses and organisations can explore storytelling, school reading, sponsored book printing and IP-based educational resources.

THE BELIEF BEHIND THE STORIES
William’s belief.
A story others can join.
Environmental protection
Social care
Cultural inclusion
Born in a village in southern China, William grew up close to rice fields, woodlands, rivers and insects. His experiences growing up in Hong Kong also shaped his understanding of educational resources and community care. He hopes to turn his wish to give back to society and nature into work that more people can join.
Willy Bee® carries this belief; Green-blueprint expresses a hope for people, society, the economy and nature to coexist in harmony. Will Legend works with researchers, schools, businesses and partners to turn the ideas behind the stories into education, exchanges and practical projects.
“I love doing something to help nature and society, not just for now, but also for the future.”

WILLY BEE SDG CHANNEL
Years of stories.
Science closer to people.
For years, Will Legend has shared educational films and real activities about glaciers, land and oceans through Willy Bee SDG Channel. From research sites and nature education to study visits and community participation, these videos show how ideas enter everyday life.

From the channel to Science Communication Station
The channel is the predecessor of Science Communication Station. Years of content and connections now support science communication projects that businesses, organisations and schools can commission, helping scientific knowledge reach more people.
Explore existing educational content on the channel. The Green-blueprint microfilm and MV will become available according to the symposium premiere and subsequent release arrangements.
How the programmes connect with the SDGs
Education, water, climate, terrestrial biodiversity, oceans and partnerships connect these works with practical action. Each project first explains what people will do, then relates that participation to relevant Sustainable Development Goals.
A SHARED INVITATION
Pooling Global Strength for Lasting Contributions
Beginning with a story, we can help more people discover science. Beginning with participation, we can turn care into action that continues. Green-blueprint seeks to connect people across places and sectors in a lasting contribution to nature and society.
