Will Legend Facilitates the First Ever Xinjiang Children’s Painting Exhibition Held in Hong Kong, Becomes a Participant, Contributor and Leader of “Integration of Two-places”

A Glacier Journey that Benefits People of All “Let the Glacier Cool” Escorting Xinjiang Children “Going Global” to Hong Kong.

Will Legend is a sustainability-focused enterprise that plans for SDGs and ESG activities, advocating “Environmental Protection, Social Philanthropy, Ethnic Integration” three major visions.

Will Legend has been working hand in hand with global citizens to walk the path of integration of “humans, society, economy, and nature”, practicing a peaceful, healthy, prosperous, and sustainable future.

At 16:29 on May 30, 2023, a groundbreaking achievement in the history of China’s space program took place – “Shenzhou-16 manned spacecraft successfully launched, and the two crew members reunited in space station.”

At 16:29 on May 30, 2026, Will Legend has set a historic precedent for the integration of the two places – The 1st “Green-blueprint, Ethnic Integration” Xinjiang Painting Exhibition (Xinjiang Primary School Group) successfully unveiled in Hong Kong.

To better promote educational collaboration between Hong Kong and Xinjiang and enhance mutual understanding between the people of the two places, Will Legend advocates the philosophy of “Symphony Hong Kong, Beautiful Xinjiang, Integration of Two Places”, and encourages students to pay attention to environmental protection and promote ethnic integration by establishing the “Green-blueprint: Ethnic Integration” scholarship.

For the very first time in Hong Kong, Will Legend adopted the theme of integration between the two places and featured around 100 paintings by children from the Fifth Primary School of Gaochang District in Turpan City, Xinjiang and the Central Primary School of the Bee Farm in Nileke County, Ili Prefecture, Xinjiang. The exhibition allowed children from Xinjiang to connect with the “Mother River” and the Pearl of the Orient through their drawings, experiencing “going global” for the first time.

To further promote the integration of the two places through the “Let the Glacier Cool –Glacier Journey”. In the future, Will Legend is actively planning the “Hong Kong-Xinjiang Children’s Painting Tour (HK-XCP Tour),” which will tour and exhibit the works of Xinjiang children free of charge in museums, exhibition halls, universities, secondary schools, and primary schools. The HK-XCP Tour will invite businesses and service organizations to act as sponsors and raise funds for the “Let the Glacier Cool – Glacier Journey” for schools participating in the integration of the two places, enabling more Hong Kong students to set foot on the glaciers of the Third Pole, the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, advocating “When drinking water, remember its source. Same roots, same heart” to trace the roots of Chinese culture through the “Let the Glacier Cool – Xinjiang Tianshan Glacier No. 1 Journey”, and nurture more young people in both places who care about the country and love the motherland.

Will Legend hopes that by continuously creating activities/events that promote integration between the two places, teachers and students from Xinjiang can also come to Hong Kong to work together to achieve “Environmental Protection, Social Philanthropy, Ethnic Integration”.

Forging A Strong Sense of Community for Chinese Nation

Will Legend takes education as its starting point, art as its medium, addressing climate change as its goal.

Extending the imagery of “Mother River” and “Going Global”: Connecting Xinjiang children with Hong Kong and fostering exchange between the two places.

Deepening long-term integration: Promoting future on-site visits and practicing “Environmental Protection, Social Philanthropy, Ethnic Integration”.

Simultaneous exhibition of works by Hong Kong artists: Continuing the spirit of exchange through art and expanding the event’s impact.

Will Legend believes that conservation and education are the best human intervention measures to address climate change. To better promote collaboration in conservation and education between the two places, and to enhance mutual understanding between the people of Hong Kong and Xinjiang, Will Legend advocates the philosophy of “Symphony Hong Kong, Beautiful Xinjiang, Integration of Two Places” and encourages children to pay attention to environmental protection and promote ethnic integration by establishing the “Green-blueprint: Ethnic Integration” scholarship. Students are encouraged to use Xinjiang as a background, incorporating their own ethnic characteristics, to express the integration of glaciers, land, and oceans through painting, thus promoting ethnic integration and harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.

On January 24, 2026, Will Legend established the “Green-blueprint: Ethnic Integration” scholarship, becoming the founding company of the scholarship programme, with CEO William Hung as the founder. January 24 is also the United Nations International Day of Education – celebrating the role of education in promoting peace and development.

Will Legend deliberately chose January 24th as the launch date of the programme in response to the international community’s affirmation in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted in September 2015, that education is crucial for successfully achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 4: “Ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education for all, and lifelong learning opportunities for all” by 2030. Education not only helps children and adolescents escape intergenerational poverty and assists them and their families in combating poverty, but it is also a vital investment for a nation, ensuring its path towards a sustainable future.

April 29th , 2026, Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday sent a congratulatory message to the Green and Sustainable Development Forum of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) – China upholds the concept of “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets,” and unswervingly follows the path of prioritizing ecological conservation and green development, adding that China is a participant, contributor and leader in promoting global eco-civilization.

Will Legend advocates promoting green development (green economy and green energy) through conservation, education and social philanthropy activities/events, and leads people around the world to practice the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Climate Goals, so as to achieve shared economic achievements, inclusive society and harmonious coexistence between humans and nature, as a way of learning from President Xi Jinping’s spirit of promoting the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Giving Xinjiang Children Their First Experience of “Going Global”

The 1st “Green-blueprint – Ethnic Integration” Xinjiang Painting Exhibition (Xinjiang Primary School Group) and the Launch Ceremony of the “Let the Glacier Cool” Hong Kong Art Creation IP Collaboration and Development was organized by Will Legend and chaired by CEO William Hung as part of the initiative to transform SDG and ESG goals into actionable measures. The event takes education as its starting point, art as its medium, and climate change as its goal. It bridges scientific research, connects education and the arts (SDG4), and promotes climate action without borders (SDG13).

The two-day exhibition (May 30-31, 2026) was held at the Hong Kong CNEC Christian College. It received support from a group of scientists, scholars, artists, and schools and has successfully concluded. It was a “two-places” integration activity/event in which the people of Hong Kong could truly participate.

We thank Researcher Wang Feiteng for coming to Hong Kong and representing the Northwest Institute of Eco-Environment and Resources, Chinese Academy of Sciences, for his active role in promoting integration between the two places, bridging scientific research, and linking Hong Kong’s education sector (SDG4) with the arts community to advance the borderless climate action initiative (SDG13). Guests present included Associate Professor Liu Lin from the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences (Climate and Glaciers) at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Dr. Chan Chi-kian from the Centre for Learning Sciences and Technologies at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Participating schools included CNEC Christian College, S.T.F.A. Lee Kam Primary School, and PLK Mrs. Chan Nam Chong Memorial Primary School. Hong Kong artists included Cassandra Lau, Chung siblings, Clouds Artland, and KC Wong (curator). KC Wong is also the chairman of the judging committee for the first “Green-blueprint • Ethnic Integration” Xinjiang Painting Exhibition (Xinjiang Primary School Group).

The opening ceremony began at 4:00 PM, and the exhibition officially opened at 4:29 PM, as announced by the event’s initiator, William Hung. Following this, William led Researcher Wang Feiteng, Professor Liu Lin, Dr. Chan Chi-kian, along with representatives from other schools and a group of artists, in a symposium to discuss “The Best Human Intervention Measures to Address Climate Change”. Participants began by focusing on environmental protection and then shared their methods and media for disseminating message.

In his concluding remarks, William Hung, founder of “Let the Glacier Cool” pointed out that scientists dedicate all their energy to acquiring data and drawing conclusions through scientific research. However, these messages often require a “decoding” process to be effectively conveyed to the public. He explained that this “decoding” process must first establish a comprehensive conservation porgammme, transforming scientists’ viewpoints into easily understandable principles; then, starting with education, transform the lofty philosophies within the conservation programmes into tangible solutions that the public can participate in, such as SDG Green-school Talk, Willy Bee SDG Channel, or visiting schools in both places to encourage students to create their own “green-blueprint” through drawing, photography, and video, and then disseminate these messages to the community to achieve public science outreach.

This is the most effective way to guide the public to participate in addressing global crises, including climate change, and to encourage them to adopt Sustainable Health Service in their daily lives. Therefore, starting with conservation and education, promoting the integration of glaciers, land, and oceans, and combining this with green development (green economy and green energy) and low-carbon, non-toxic lifestyles, is more likely to achieve harmonious coexistence between humans and nature, and is one of the best human intervention measure to address climate change.

Environmental Protection, Social Philanthropy, Ethnic Integration

At present, in the context of global warming, responding to climate change and mitigating the climate crisis has become one of the major global challenges. Whether from the business, science, non-governmental organizations or education sectors, we all hope to make contributions and promote climate action. Therefore, Will Legend promotes the “Green-blueprint” initiative, hoping to implement philosophy and practices, and work together with scientists, business and organizational representatives, teachers, students, and the public to promote a bright future of sustainable development for humans and nature.

Water is the source of all things, and through changes in its gaseous, liquid, and solid states, it drives the Earth’s climate and ecological cycles. Therefore, Will Legend and the Northwest Institute of Eco-Environment and Resources, Chinese Academy of Sciences have joined hands to promote environmental protection (protecting glaciers and water sources) by “Let the Glacier Cool”, promoting social philanthropy through glacier and ice core journeys, and ethnic integration through activities/events that promote the integration of the two places.

Taking advantage of the first “Two-places” painting exhibition, Will Legend hopes to collaborate with Hong Kong artists to create a “two-places” IP industry chain themed around glacier, land, ocean (environmental protection), and philanthropy. This new IP industry will adopt “Let the Glacier Cool”, “Let the Ocean Breathe”, “Urban Wildlife Corridor”, sustainable development goals, Willy the Bee and Flowery as core elements of the IP collaboration, further incorporating local characteristics. Once Hong Kong’s IP industry connects with scenic spots, cultural and creative shops, museums etc., in mainland of China, a completely new green industrial chain can be launched, allowing participants from both Hong Kong and the mainland of China to share economic achievements and promote mutual economic growth.

The first national glacier preservation between Hong Kong and the mainland of China for joint action has opened a new way for the two places to connect. Since 2023, Will Legend has been working with the Northwest Institute of Eco-Environment and Resources, Chinese Academy of Sciences to promote the “Let the Glacier Cool” Conservation and Education Programme. Through “Let the Glacier Cool – Glacier Journey”, tracing the source of water, emphasizing gratitude (When drinking water, remember its source); connects with schools in Xinjiang, fostering “Same roots, same heart”; and creating activities/events that integrate the two places, exploring the origins of Chinese culture and nurturing more young people who care about the country and love the motherland – forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation.

Taking Education as Starting Point, Art as Medium, Addressing Climate Change as Goal

William Hung, the founder of the “Let the Glacier Cool” Conservation and Education programme, spent more than five years traversing glaciers, land, and oceans to transform the programmes from philosophies into concrete measures.

The sudden outbreak of COVID-19, especially when the Omicron variant first appeared in Hong Kong, deeply impressed upon William Hung, founder of “Green-blueprint”, the power of nature and the fragility of human life. Without promoting harmonious coexistence between humans and nature, humanity has no future. To fulfill his mission of protecting public health, Will Legend was tasked with assisting the Hong Kong SAR Government’s Department of Health at the forefront of the fight against the pandemic, preventing social and economic from coming to a standstill. At that time, Will Legend was the only company willing to enter quarantine hotels to conduct epidemic prevention work, preventing the spread of viruses and diseases and protecting humans, society, and economy. Against this context, “Sustainable Health Service” was born, fully demonstrating Will Legend’s corporate social responsibility and its unwavering commitment to prioritizing public health and well-being.

Environmental protection is the responsibility of every citizen. The creation of the “Green-blueprint” integrates all the organizations and individuals who have contributed to environmental protection in the past, combining “glaciers, land, and oceans” into one, encouraging the public to adopt low-carbon and non-toxic lifestyles “Sustainable Health Service”, taking a holistic approach to care for the Earth and help it “cool down”.

The “Green-blueprint” and “Let the Glacier Cool” complement each other. “Let the Glacier Cool” building the “Glacier Journey and Ice Core Journey”. Will Legend, together with the people of Hong Kong, returns to the motherland through the entry point of “environmental protection”, jointly promoting social philanthropy and ethnic integration. This innovative philosophy has received support from the Xinjiang local government, education bureau, and schools. This background has also spurred new initiatives such as the “Symphony Hong Kong, Beautiful Xinjiang, Integration of Two Places” Campaign, the “Green-blueprint: Ethnic Integration” scholarship, and the establishment of “Willy Bee AI Computer Room” in mountainous schools.

This historic painting exhibition by children from Xinjiang in Hong Kong fully demonstrates Will Legend’s commitment to giving back to society and nature, also further implement the transformation of the philosophies into activities that the public can participate in on a daily basis. The resounding success of this exhibition not only marks a new chapter in Hong Kong’s history but also simultaneously writes a new chapter of integration between the people of the two places.

Looking ahead, Will Legend hopes to gain more participation from businesses, organizations/institutions, and the education sector to support the “Let the Glacier Cool” programme. Starting with education and using art as a medium, the programme aims to address climate change and promote a peaceful, healthy, and prosperous society. This first-ever example of “two-places” integration in Hong Kong further enriches the “The Glacier Story of Hong Kong” and demonstrates the importance of promoting the “Let the Glacier Cool” programme. Furthermore, this tangible and impactful effort effectively forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation, highlighting Will Legend’s integrated visions of “Environmental Protection, Social Philanthropy, Ethnic Integration”.

Transforming Global Challenges into Actionable Measures

To encourage and thank every Xinjiang child who participated in the “Green-blueprint: Ethnic Integration” Creative Competition, the founder, William Hung, specially presented each participant with a Hong Kong stamp featuring the night view of the “Pearl of the Orient” as a way to better convey the friendship and blessings of the Hong Kong people to the people of Xinjiang. The awards ceremony will be held on July 3, 2026, where teachers and students from S.T.F.A. Lee Kam Primary School, led by Will Legend, will visit the Fifth Primary School in Gaochang District, Turpan City, Xinjiang, to jointly present certificates and gifts to the winning students. The award-winning Xinjiang children of the 13 outstanding works will receive a “Let the Glacier Cool” schoolbag. The first, second, and third place winners will also receive a Willy Bee tablet.

Will Legend specially chose the “Pearl of the Orient” as the background for the stamps as gifts to better echo the ending of the “Willy Bee – The Journey of Glacier, Land and Ocean” storybook – “At the end of the story, humanity finally awakens and is willing to work with Willy Bee and Flowery to paint a blue Earth with glaciers, land and oceans, leading the world towards peace, health and prosperity. With the protection of Mother River, the southern city where Willy Bee grew up also has another name, which is ‘Pearl of the Orient’ “.

As for the other school – the Central Primary School of the Bee Farm in Nileke County, Ili Prefecture, Xinjiang – the award ceremony was successfully completed on April 7, 2026. On the same day, Will Legend also held a charity donation ceremony and unveiling ceremony for the “Willy Bee AI Computer Room” at the primary school, allowing children in Xinjiang to also embark on their AI learning journey. Will Legend actively promotes integration activities between the two places, forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation, and creating a more equitable, appropriate, and flexible educational environment for children in both places (SDG4).

The “Green-blueprint” – the world’s first initiative to address climate change by integrating ecosystems of glaciers, land, and oceans. The “Green-blueprint” is a geoengineering and climate engineering project that truly allows people from different regions and sectors to participate. In the future, the “Green-blueprint” will continue to advance well-being of conservation, education, society, and nature, and call on more people to address the pressing global challenges of the 21st century, including climate change, global poverty, peace, and inclusive society.

The Guardian of Humanity and Nature

William Hung is the current CEO of Will Legend Eco Living Limited and the founder of “Let the Glacier Cool”, the first national Hong Kong-Mainland of China glacier preservation for joint action. He also founded “Green-blueprint”, the world’s first initiative to mitigate climate change through the integration of glaciers, land, and oceans, promoting the three visions of “Environmental Protection, Social Philanthropy, Ethnic Integration” and working with people worldwide to forge a path of harmony between humans, society, economy, and nature, achieving a peaceful, healthy, prosperous, and sustainable future.

The book takes education as its starting point, art as its medium, and addressing climate change as its goal. It calls on more people to work together to address the pressing global challenges of the 21st century, including climate change, global poverty, peace, and inclusive societies.

In 2021, after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, he founded “Sustainable Health Service” to raise public health awareness, respond to the spread of disease, safeguard the health and well-being of all citizens, and protect the environment. When particularly the mutated virus (Omicron) first appeared in Hong Kong, his company was the only one willing to assist the Hong Kong SAR government in assisting quarantine hotels with epidemic prevention work in hotel rooms.

In 2022, he founded the “Urban Wildlife Corridor” and the “Let the Ocean Breathe” Conservation and Education Programmes, respectively promoting the protection of land and food, ocean and air, and building healthy land and ocean to mitigate global warming and climate change.

In 2023, he donated the “Third Pole Hong Kong Glacier Landmark”, a bridge of friendship between Hong Kong and the Mainland of China, to the Dagu Glacier Management Bureau in Heishui County, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province, and jointly established the first “Third Pole Hong Kong Glacier Museum.” In the same year, he co-initiated the “Let the Glacier Cool” Conservation and Education Programme with the Northwest Institute of Eco-Environment and Resources, Chinese Academy of Sciences—bridging scientific research, disseminating science outreach, and sharing of education to encourage people in both places to protect Antarctica, the Arctic, and the Third Pole’s glaciers, cryosphere, and water. At the same time, he advocates “Let the Glacier Cool – Glacier Journey and Ice Core Journey”—“When drinking water, remember its source. Same roots, same heart”—tracing the origins of Chinese culture and nurturing more young people in both places who are care about the country and love their motherland.

In April 2024, he led 128 teachers and students, set foot on the Dagu Glacier at an altitude of 4,860 meters, and walked into the embrace of the “White Giants”. By November of the same year, he facilitated the first-ever “Sister School Scheme” between two schools in Hong Kong and Sichuan, enriched Hong Kong students’ learning experiences, deepened their understanding of their motherland, and fostered the collaborative development of education between the two regions. Throughout the year, four schools embarked on the “Let the Glacier Cool – Glacier Journey”, stepped into the cryosphere to witness the alarming rate of glacial retreat caused by climate change.

In 2025, as a representative of Hong Kong, a co-organizer, and a member of the Science Committee, he attended the “2025 International Year of Glaciers’ Preservation” – Dagu Glacier International Academic Summit Forum. In his keynote speech, he proposed to implement conservation, education, science outreach, cultural exchange, and sustainable development goals through “Let the Glacier Cool – Glacier Journey and Ice Core Journey”, promote collaboration between different sectors and IP synergy between Hong Kong and the Mainland of China, creating opportunities, and achieving the sharing of economic achievements.

In 2026, he collaborated with Researcher Wang Feiteng from the Northwest Institute of Eco-Environment and Resources, Chinese Academy of Sciences, to connect the “Let Glacier Cool” programme with the Museum of Climate Change (MoCC) at the Chinese University of Hong Kong as a theme for addressing climate change, writing “The Glacier Story of Hong Kong” That same year, he and Researcher Wang Feiteng established the “Let Glacier Cool – Hong Kong Glacier Talent Training Group” and the “Decade of Ice Core Action for Addressing Climate Change”, promoting the protection of glaciers and water through education. He helps enterprises and institutions/organizations easily build ESG goals and CSR image. With the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at its core, he is committed to transforming global challenges into actionable measures. He is known for SDG-focused and turning global challenges into actionable measures.

On May 30, 2026, he made history by bringing paintings by children from Xinjiang to Hong Kong, thus creating a new chapter in the integration of Hong Kong and the mainland of China, and organized their first painting exhibition – The 1st “Green-blueprint, Ethnic Integration” Xinjiang Painting Exhibition (Xinjiang Primary School Group). The exhibition allowed children from Xinjiang to connect with the “Mother River” and the Pearl of the Orient through their drawings, experiencing “going global” for the first time. Will Legend hopes that by continuously creating activities/events that promote integration between the two places, eventually, teachers and students from Xinjiang can also come to Hong Kong to work together to achieve “Environmental Protection, Social Philanthropy, Ethnic Integration”.
