The purpose is to inspire people to live in balance with nature and fundamentally protect the most important elements of human life – water, food and air.

There is no shortage of environmental scientists in society, including those working in the fields of glaciers (polar regions), land, oceans, and climate. They are all guardians of nature. Not only have they made extraordinary academic achievements, but they have also provided many “prescriptions” for the health of the Earth through the data and results obtained from their various experiments, observations, and research. But the reality is that many of the “prescriptions” are only circulated within their fields or in academic forums. The reason is that these “prescriptions” often cannot be “decoded” or transmitted to society and the public in a down-to-earth way. Similarly, some companies and organizations with social responsibilities are also very willing to contribute to SDG and ESG projects. The Bee Town in Xinjiang has built the Black Bee Preserve to protect the natural ecosystem and bees and then use the bee theme to support ecotourism and the honey industry chain. Global warming is the primary cause of climate change. The “Green-blueprint” supports green development, promoting green transition, new energy, green industries, and ecotourism. May 20, 2025 – Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday sent a congratulatory letter to the 2025 SCO (the Shanghai Cooperation Organization) Forum on Poverty Reduction and Sustainable Development, held in Xi’an, northwest China’s Shaanxi Province. Xi pointed out that poverty eradication, a global issue, is a common goal of all countries in the world. Through arduous efforts, China has successfully won the battle against poverty, achieved the poverty reduction target of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development ten years ahead of schedule, blazed a poverty reduction path with Chinese characteristics, and written a new chapter in the history of mankind’s fight against poverty.

In November of the same year, under the witness of the “Let the Glacier Cool” programme, the first “Sister School Scheme” relationship between two schools in Hong Kong and Sichuan was established, providing Hong Kong students with a richer learning experience, increasing their understanding of the motherland, and promoting the development of education in the two places.

In April 2025, the first trip of “Let the Glacier Cool – Xinjiang Tianshan Glacier No. 1 Journey™” (SDG-in-China™ Academic Study Tour, Corporate/NGO SDG-in-China™ Research Trip) successfully implemented the mutual understanding and integration of the people of the two places, and promoted the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and environmental protection philosophy. From July to August 2025, to further highlight the importance philosophy of the Integration of Glacier, Land, Ocean, and better demonstrate to the public how the “Green-blueprint” promotes the Integration of Humans, Society, Economy and Nature, moving the world towards a bright future of sustainable development, Will Legend once again visited several cities in Xinjiang, including Urumqi, Ili Prefecture, and Turpan, engaging in in-depth exchanges with government bodies, schools, green enterprises, and scientific research institutions. This laid the foundation for promoting “Two-Places Integration” activity and enabled future Hong Kong research trip and academic study tour to better implement the goals of Conservation, Education, Science Outreach, Cultural exchange.
